I completed the installation but I can't find Magic Touch Classic inside Photoshop!

Modified on Sat, 22 Mar at 10:45 AM

Being a Legacy Extension, Magic Touch Classic can be found in Photoshop’s menu, inside

window > Extensions > Magic Touch

If you do not see the Extensions item in the window menu, it is likely that you are on a Mac computer with an Apple Silicon chip. In this case please refer to the question “How can I run Magic Touch Classic and Magic Scape on a Mac with an M1 or M2 chip?“.

If you see the Extensions item in the window menu, but it’s greyed out, open Photoshop Preferences, find the Plugins tab and make sure you have checked the option “Load Extension Panels” (and while you’re there, please also check “Allow Extensions to Connect to the Internet” for good measure). Please mind that if it was unchecked you will need to restart Photoshop for the changes to take effect.

If you checked all of the above but you still don’t see Magic Touch where it should be, please confirm you are using one of the supported versions of Photoshop: Magic Touch Classic is compatible with Photoshop CC 2018, 2019, 2020, 2021, 2022 and 2023.

If you're running a version of Photoshop above CC 2023 (24.5) we strongly recommend to use Magic Touch 2 instead.

In all the other cases, please create a new ticket and we’ll do our best to help you!
